The funeral of Kenny Cowan

Following communication with Kenny’s family, DAFC would like to provide the following information to our supporters.

Kenny’s funeral will take place on Tuesday 11th August. Sadly, only a restricted invite only ceremony, due to the current Covid-19 regulations, will take place at Dunfermline Crematorium at 1.15pm.

However, an online link to the service will he created to allow the many friends of Kenny to view the ceremony at home. Details of the link will be posted here on the evening of 10th August, when it is made available.

The condolences cloth in the Club Shop/Ticket Office foyer will remain there, for Pars supporters to leave their personal messages right up until Tuesday lunch time. This is to be draped over Kenny’s coffin for its final journey.

The funeral cortège will pass by East End Park around 12.50 on Tuesday, to allow Pars Supporters to gather outside East End Park (socially distanced) to pay their further respects to Kenny.

Kenny’s family have asked for all donations to be made to the Pars Foundation.
