Kenny Cowan
Tuesday, 4th Aug 2020Everyone at DAFC was extremely sad to hear today of the passing of long time supporter Kenny Cowan.
Kenny was a former chairman of DASC and our current Disability Access Officer.
Chairman, Ross McArthur commented:-
“Our sincere condolences go to Kenny’s two sons, Derek and Duncan, and his grandson, Murray. Kenny will be sadly missed, in and around East End Park, and was a larger than life character who was always so positive about his beloved Pars. He put his heart and soul in to so many things connected with the club over the years, and in recent years was always gifting items or helping out with things in the DASC Supporters Hub.
“On a personal level, he was always very kind and respectful to me and whenever things were difficult for me he was always there with words of encouragement. I spoke to him a few times during lockdown, and I know it was a difficult time for him as he missed seeing his family. It is so sad that just as things were starting to improve he met one last hurdle.”
DAFC and Kenny`s family have set up a condolence table in the Club Shop Foyer, when fans and friends of Kenny are invited to leave a message.
