2020-2021 Championship Fixtures
Wednesday, 29th Jul 2020At long last Championship football is on the horizon and Dunfermline will open their campaign at home against Inverness Caley Thistle.
The Scottish Championship, Scottish League 1 and Scottish League 2 are all due to kick off on Saturday 17th October, with clubs playing 27 matches each.
On the opening day of the Championship season Dunfermline Athletic will host Inverness Caley Thistle and will play Alloa Athletic in their first away match the following Saturday 24th October.
Matches alternate home and away for the first 12 matches. The second third of the programme commences with the only Tuesday night fixture, away to Inverness Caley Thistle, on 29th December.
Dunfermline will play Hearts twice at East End Park but will meet Dundee, Ayr United and Raith Rovers twice away from home. The home match against the Rovers will be on Saturday 2nd January. The Boxing Day fixture will also be at home versus Arbroath.
There will only be one trip to Cappielow and one trip to Dumfries. The league programme ends with a match away to Alloa on Friday 30th April 2021.
