Dom Thomas moves to Dunfermline is permanent
Friday, 10th Jul 2020Dom Thomas returns to the Pars wanting to play a big part in push to take Dunfermline into the Premiership
After a mutually agreed compensation arrangement was sorted out between both clubs Dom Thomas returns to Dunfermline on a two year deal. The 24 year old made 8 appearances for the Pars while on loan from Kilmarnock from January 2020 and his attacking style made him an immediate favourite with the Dunfermline fans. returns on a two year deal. Dom was in the Celtic youth system prior to joining Motherwell as a fourteen year old. He made his ‘Well debut in December 2014 and joined Kilmarnock on a three year deal in July 2017. Dom said:-
"It is great to be back. I got a taste for it from January until the shutdown, I really enjoyed my time here and I am just glad that it is now on a permanent basis. I look back with great memories and I just look forward to making some new ones."
Stevie Crawford was delighted to have signed believes Dom and predicted that he will be a massive asset for the team:-
“He is creative, I had said that I was targeting a wide attacking player and Dom was my number one target on that. I think it shows the ambition in ourselves that we have managed to get him from Kilmarnock, a Premier League club and also Dom sees Dunfermline as a very good fit for the stage that he is at in his career.”
