DAFC Season Ticket Update

Friday, 26th Jun 2020

“I appeal to as many Pars fans as possible to assist our Club in preparing for the coming season by purchasing a season ticket.”

I hope all of our supporters, and their families continue to stay safe and well during these strange times.

It has really been pleasing to see the progress that has been made in the last few weeks in Scotland, combatting the virus, and the much more positive signs that we are now seeing in terms of easing the lockdown measures, as a consequence. The Scottish Government are now looking at potential dates of mid-July for our move to Phase 3, so there is more than a good chance we will be deep in Phase 4 for the start of October, for the start of the new season, when full crowds are allowed back into stadiums. Naturally, no one can be complacent but there now appears to be light at the end of the tunnel!

I would like to take this opportunity to provide an update on a number of things relating to season tickets:

2019/20 SEASON
I am pleased to confirm that only four supporters requested compensation relating to the three unfulfilled matches from last season. We are fully respectful of their particular reasons for doing so at this time.

This is yet another example of the loyalty and support from our fan base, and our sincere thanks to everyone for their generous gesture.

2020/21 SEASON
I would start by thanking all of our supporters who have already purchased season tickets on line, and of course donated further sums in support of Stevie’s player fund. As ever, your support is greatly appreciated.

It has been very disappointing to hear that a number of supporters have experienced difficulties registering on our on line ticket facility. We have had historical issues with the system, and we asked for assurances from the third party operator that the site would have no such glitches when we went live. Sadly, we have been let down, so I apologise for the inconvenience that this has caused.

As a consequence, we are expected to open our Club Shop/Ticket Office at East End Park safely on 3 July, to facilitate over the counter purchases of season tickets. In addition, we will also have a telephone sale facility operational on designated days. Further details will follow in the next week.

In the meantime, thanks once again for your support and please stay safe and take care.
COYP!
