DUNFERMLINE RESERVES 1 RANGERS RESERVES 4
Rangers took the lead in five minutes when Peter Van BOSSEN took a Jon Johannson pass to score from eight yards. The second came 11 minutes later when the Pars defence again failed to pick up Johannson, whose cross was headed home by Van BOSSEN.
Dunfermline’s best chance came when Gary Bollan was short with a passback and Greg Shaw found himself with only keeper, Theo Snelders to beat, but his 12 yard shot was blocked.
Rangers made it three nil in the 54th minute when Van BOSSEN broke clear on the left to cut into the box and hit a low cross that deflected off Steve Welsh to lob a stranded Zoran Lemajic. The fourth came in the 67th minute, Stephen WRIGHT shooting home after a lay off from Stephen Boyack.
Dunfermline’s consolation goal came ten minutes from time when Greg LOUDEN knocked the ball home from close range after the Rangers defence failed to clear a low cross.
