Mark McCulloch

Born in Inverness, Mark McCulloch played for local Highland League side Clachnacuddin before joining Dunfermline as a 19 year old in August 1994.

A strong and hard working midfielder who played 37 games for Dunfermline though only 19 of them were as part of the starting eleven.

A desire for first team football took him home to Caley Thistle in August 1997. He went on to make 119 appearances for the club, the most memorable being the 3-1 Scottish Cup victory over Celtic in February 2000 as Super Caley went ballistic Celtic were atrocious.

That summer he signed for Livingston but after a good debut season he was sidelined as the club brought in new players to compete in the Premier League. A similar situation occurred after he joined Partick Thistle in 2001. The Jags were promoted while Mark stayed in the First Division with Ross County.

He was the spend seven years in Dingwall playing close to 300 matches and helping the club back into the First Division in 2008 after their relegation the previous season.

In 2009 he joined Forfar Athletic, taking his appearances in senior football to around 650 before having to retire after suffering a knee injury in a League Cup tie against Dundee in August 2013.

Mark came out of retirement briefly in 2016 to turn out for Rosyth
