With the end of the year looming we are asking Pars fans to vote for their team of the decade, covering players from the 2010 season up to the current day. Vote Here
We`ve whittled down the choices to a handful of players in each position and have selected a 4-4-2 formation for you to pick from.
Starting with Goalkeepers:
Chris Smith - Ever-present during the Pars promotion winning season 2010-11.
2010-2012: 65 appearances, 20 shut-outs
Paul Gallagher - Returned for a second spell to try to help Dunfermline survive in the SPL.
2011-2013: 53 appearances, 14 shut-outs
Ryan Scully - Now in his second spell after spending two earlier seasons on loan from Partick Thistle.
2013-2015 and 2018- :114 appearances, 32 shut-outs
Sean Murdoch - Another who returned to the club, Sean was part of the League One title-winning side in 2015-16.
2015-2019: 106 appearances, 35 shut-outs
Left back
Austin McCann - Captain of the First Division title-winning team of 2010-11 who joined Dunfermline in 2008.
2010-2012: 87 (+1 sub) appearances, 1 goal
Alex Whittle - Pacey young left back who was one of Jim Jefferies first signings.
2012-2015:78 (+22 sub) appearances, 3 goals
Jason Talbot - Tough-tackling full back who was one of Allan Johnston’s first signings.
2015-2018: 104 (+5 sub) appearances, 3 goals
Jackson Longridge - Signed for the Pars with his brother Louis, he was Player of the Year in his only season with the club.
2018-2019: 40 (+1 sub) appearances, 5 goals
Central Defender
Kevin Rutkiewicz - Signed in the January transfer window, he had a big influence on securing the First Division championship in 2010-11.
2010-2012: 23 appearances, 0 goals
Andy Dowie - A regular in the side for a number of seasons and a member of the title-winning side in 2010-11
2010-2013: 118 (+2 sub), 2 goals
John Potter - Returned for a second spell when the club won promotion in 2011, John helped nurture Pars young team after administration in 2013.
2011-2015: 34 (+3 sub) appearances, 0 goals
Callum Morris - Central defender who had two spells with the Pars during the decade.
2012-2014 and 2016-2018: 120 (+4 sub) appearances, 7 goals
Callum Fordyce - Started off as new manager Alan Johnston’s new captain but suffered a bad injury which hampered his career.
2015-2017: 25 (+1 sub) appearances, 0 goals
Ben Richards-Everton - First choice centre back during Dunfermline’s League One title-winning season.
2015-2017: 53 appearances, 2 goals
Lewis Martin - Made his debut in season 2012-13 and is currently the club’s longest serving player.
2012- : 142(+ 10 sub) appearances, 4 goals
Lee Ashcroft - Joined the club at the start of season 2016-17 and has been virtually ever-present since.
2016- : 153 appearances, 9 goals
Right Back
Ryan Williamson - Made his first team debut in 2013 and went on to play for six seasons, winning Scotland Under 21 caps.
2013-2019: 122 (+14 sub) appearances, 1 goal
Calum Woods - Liverpudlian who signed for Dunfermline in 2006. His final season was the First Division title-winning season in 2010-11.
2010-2011: 55 (+3 sub) appearances, 6 goals
Jordan McMillan - Took over the captaincy as Dunfermline went through administration.
2011-2013: 43 appearances, 2 goals
Ross Millen - Young player who was thrown in at the deep end at the time of the club’s administration.
2012-2015: 76 (+3 sub) appearances, 7 goals
Central Midfielder
Nick Phinn - Joined the club in 2004 and was a member of the First Division title-winning season in 2010-11.
2010-2012: 29 (+18 sub) appearances, 9 goals
Steven Bell - Powerful midfielder who was seriously injured during Pars promotion push in 2010.
2010-2011: 32 appearances, 10 goals
Gary Mason - Remembered as one of the great team of the early 2000s, he returned for a second spell with the club in January 2010.

Ryan Thomson - Powerful young midfielder who became an important squad member following administration.
2010-2015: 82 (+59 sub) appearances, 21 goals
Stephen Husband - Skilful midfielder with a powerful shot who signed in 2012.
2012-2014: 61 (+17 sub) appearances, 17 goals
Shaun Byrne - Developed from captain of Dunfermline’s Youth Cup Final team into a cultured midfielder.
2012-2016: 90 (+25 sub) appearances, 11 goals
Josh Falkingham - Was club captain for a time following administration, and a tenacious one at that.
2012-2016: 138 (+16 sub) appearances, 14 goals
Nat Wedderburn - Defensive midfielder who was popular among fans due to his great physical presence.
2016-2018: 60 (+7 sub) appearances, 1 goal
Andy Geggan - Club captain who could play in midfield or defence and has second highest number of appearances of any player during the decade.
2012-2017: 188 (+7 sub) appearances, 32 goals
Wide men
Joe Cardle - Popular winger who had two spells with the club during the decade. Is the highest goalscorer and has the highest appearances of any player during the decade.
2010-2013 and 2015-2018: 163 (+64 sub) appearances, 51 goals
David Graham - Experienced winger who played a major role in the title-winning season 2010-11.
2010-2012: 83 (+12 sub) appearances, 13 goals
Willie Gibson - Enigmatic character who could turn a game, and possessed with a powerful shot.
2010-2011: 33 (+6 sub) appearances, 11 goals
Michael Paton - Part of the League One title-winning team of 2015-16 and a great crosser of a ball.
2015-2018: 67 (+15 sub) appearances, 7 goals
Kallum Higginbotham - Popular among fans and had the ability to turn a game with fantastic skills when he was on song.
2016-2019: 94 (+19 sub) appearances, 19 goals
Paul McMullan - Small and skilful wide man who had a great season on loan at East End in 2016-17.
2016-2017: 28 (+10 sub) appearances, 7 goals
Fraser Aird - Another skilful winger who helped Dunfermline reach the Premier play-offs in 2018.
2017-2018: 15 (+10 sub) appearances, 4 goals
James Craigen Energetic midfielder who could play as full back or anywhere in midfield
2017-2019: 55 (+4 sub) appearances, 2 goals
Striker
Andy Kirk - Important goalscorer in early part of decade and helped secure First Division title in 2010--11
2010-2013: 81 (+35 sub) appearances, 44 goals
Liam Buchanan - Small mobile striker with a good shot, he was also involved in the First Division title winning team in 2010-11.
2010-2012: 28 (+20 sub) appearances, 11 goals
Andy Barrowman - Big powerful striker who had two short spells at the club during the decade.
2011-2013 and 2014-2015: 50 (+15 sub) appearances, 22 goals
Ryan Wallace - Small but highly skilled striker who had a tremendous shot
2012-2016: 78 (+41 sub) appearances, 36 goals
Faissal El Bakhtaoui - French-Moroccan who joined Dunfermline with no experience of professional football but who topped the goalscoring charts on 2015-16.
2012-2016 and 2018-2019: 98 (+28 sub) appearances, 46 goals
Michael Moffat - A clever player signed by John Potter in 2014, he provided more assists than any other player during the title-winning season in 2015-16.
2014-2017: 102 (+20 sub) appearances, 27 goals
Nicky Clark - A natural goalscorer with a great shot and good in the air, he helped Dunfermline reach the play-offs in 2018.
2016-2018: 77 (+1 sub) appearances, 37 goals
Declan McManus - Another who played a key role as Dunfermline reached the play-offs in 2018.
2017-2018: 37 (+7 sub) appearances, 13 goals
Andy Ryan - Lost time through injury but is a player who looks to have the potential to score a lot of goals in the future.
2017 - : 28 (+33 sub) appearances, 16 goals
