PST at 1703 Kitchen & Grill
Wednesday, 27th Nov 2019£1000 raised for the Margaret Ross Memorial Fund.
Over 60 PST members, family and friends enjoyed a terrific night out at 1703 Kitchen and Grill in Bruce Street, Dunfermline on Thursday 21st November.
They were joined by Pars players Stuart Morrison, Gabby McGill, Matty Bowman and Josh Coley together with manager Stevie Crawford and reserve team manager Greg Shields.
Our very own Forth 1/Clyde 1 radio presenter Steven Mill compered the event, interviewing the invited guests and giving the players in particular a chance to let everyone know about their careers so far and what it means to be a professional footballer at Dunfermline Athletic.
The evening raised £1000 which will go to the Margaret Ross Memorial Fund, set up to provide assistance to the younger players at East End Park.
In almost 3 years the fund has already helped Paul Allan and Josh Robertson attend a training camp in Portugal with Benfica, subsidised travel to away reserve games, provided specialist training equipment and subscribed to the Development Club for the last 2 years.
PST Chair Drew Main said “This was yet another of our successful restaurant evenings and, judging by the feedback, everyone had a great time.
“It’s great that the players and coaching staff supported the event and I can’t thank our members, their family and friends enough for their continued support. Without them we couldn’t do a fraction of the things we do”.
