Dunfermline Athletic Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of defender, Euan Murray from Raith Rovers on a 2 year contract.
Euan had attracted the interest of a number of other clubs so we are delighted that he sees his future at East End Park, after we agreed suitable terms with Raith Rovers.
Euan Murray started 90 matches and made a further two as a substitute during his two seasons Stark`s Park. He scored nine goals, and also stood-in as captain last season.
The defender, who started his career in the Motherwell Academy is described as versatile, being able to play at centre-back and full-back. Now 25 years of age Euan had spells at Clyde and Stenhousemuir with break in between in 2015 playing with Western United in the Solomon Islands before trying his hand in the English National League at Barrow and Southport. He returned north in July 2017 to join the Rovers.
