Dunfermline Athletic Football Club are pleased to announce the signing of highly rated midfielder, Kyle Turner on a two year contract.
The 21 year old leaves Stranraer, having scored 19 goals in 138 appearances for the Blues since making his debut in September 2015.
We would like to thank our friends at Stranraer FC for agreeing to a fair development compensation arrangement to allow Kyle to come to East End Park.
Manager Stevie Crawford said that he was really pleased to welcome his latest signing:-
“He is one who has caught the eye in reports that we have received since coming into the job from people outwith who have been watching games. He is versatile and can play across the midfield areas.
“He is not an out and out wide one but can play left or right sided coming in. I am delighted to get someone who has got over 100 games to his name albeit at League One level. He has progressed every season so he is very much in the mould that we are trying to put into the club and one that we are excited to add.”
Kyle is the son of Tommy Turner whom many will remember from his over 500 appearances primarily at Morton, St Johnstone and St Mirren in a career that stretched from 1989 to 2004.
