PST Makes it Pitch Perfect
Tuesday, 5th Feb 201910,000 litres of oil purchased for the undersoil heating.
The Pars Supporters Trust are delighted to have been able to provide financial assistance to ensure Saturdays game against Ross County went ahead as scheduled.
Extremely low temperatures last week meant the undersoil heating system at East End Park had to be fired up. In order to do so, the club had to take delivery of 10,000 litres of oil at a cost of £5,400.
PST Chair, Drew Main said “I’m sure most people appreciate the kind of financial constraints clubs like ours have to work under so when a bill like this comes in and the PST are in a position to help then we’re more than happy to do so. However, we can only help out like this thanks to the contributions of our members and I’d like to thank them once again for their continued support”.
Chairman Ross McArthur added “I would like to once again thank the PST for their consideration in taking the time to approach our club with an offer to fund the fuel for the undersoil heating. It is one of many significant expenses we face during the course of the season, similar to overnight stays when we are travelling up North, so the DAFC Board greatly appreciate the PST’s support.”
Membership of the PST costs as little as £20 per year. If you would like to join, please email membership@parssupporterstrust.co.uk or visit the PST rep in the foyer outside the club shop on match days.
