Preview Ross County
Saturday, 24th Nov 2018Ladbrokes Championship: (away) Saturday 24th November 2018 at the Global Energy Stadium, Dingwall kick off 3.00pm
Due to Ross County’s involvement in the quarter final matches in the Irn Bru Cup this fixture was put back a week to a Saturday that both clubs had blank. While most of the other Championship clubs are engaged in William Hill Scottish Cup ties, Ross County will play host to Dunfermline Athletic both of whom received byes for the Third Round on account of their league placing last season.
This will undoubtedly be one of the toughest away games of the Pars Championship season. Ross County lost their Premiership place last season but are determined to bounce straight back up. They have assembled an impressive squad that includes former Pars Callum Morris and Declan McManus.
Despite trailing league leaders Ayr United by five points, the Dingwall side remain hot favourites for the title this season. If anyone doubted their credentials, they might not have after their victory at East End Park earlier this season. The Pars of course are an enigma, reserving their best performances for away matches, so hopefully this is by no means a cakewalk for the Staggies.

Ross County 1 Dunfermline 0
Just three days after the sides played out a 2-2 draw at East End Park the replay brought them together again. Michael Gardyne supplied the delivery from the left and the ball travelled through the defence to Raffaele DE VITA on the far side and he thrashed the ball past Sean Murdoch for the only goal of the game. 1-0
