Bucket collection in aid of Fife Elite Football Academy

Message from Bill Hendry, Head of Academy

The Regional Academy Fife Elite, which Dunfermline Athletic supports along with the other 3 senior clubs in Fife is having a bucket collection prior to the game v Dundee United on Saturday.

We would ask fans to donate to this worthy cause and help the Academy continue to grow and flourish. Young players from the Academy will be dotted around the ground so they won’t be hard to find!

In this season alone, 9 Fife Elite Academy graduates have featured in competitive matches for Dunfermline and your donations on Saturday can help in developing future players for the Pars.

At a time when clubs such as Falkirk and Livingston have scrapped their Academies due to the pressures of implementing the recommendations of Project Brave, Fife Elite continues to exist and has just recently passed it’s audit by the SFA guaranteeing its place in Project Brave for a further 2 years.

You can play a part in supporting its continued existence through making sure that you look out for the young players who are collecting and giving a donation.
