Pars need to perfect final touches
Friday, 21st Sep 2018“We need to start picking up points because if we don’t it is going to be a hard season.
Morton is a big game claims Faissal El Bakhtaoui but he and his team mates are looking forward to it:-
“We have been working hard with the gaffer and Sandy Clark in front of goal. We had a good score against Dundee United and after that we didn’t really score. I think that we look really good going forward but we are all panicking at the final pass because we all want to score a goal.
“I think it will come. If we could score first I think we could kick on. I have been talking with the boys and every single one in the changing room agree that we are under pressure to score goals. When we are in front of goal we are not sure to shot or to pass the ball.
“The defence has been doing really good, they know they have to stay strong at the back. I know that is hard when the strikers don’t score. In football the hardest thing is to defend first and to score goals after that. They are doing really well just now so I hope this weekend is going to be a good game for us and we can kick on from there.
“Sometimes the ball needs to move quicker and when we have got the ball we want to push forward. When someone gets the ball it gets the same reaction as the other players. We need the first goal and after that the confidence of the players will get everyone together. I am sure that it will come.”
After Saturday’s disappointing home draw the 25 year old striker stressed:-
“We need to start picking up points because if we don’t it is going to be a hard season.
“We have players who have played at the top level and it has been frustrating in the last few games. Everyone knows that we need to work hard together and that has meant working in front of goal with the gaffer and Sandy Clark. They try to relax us for the final touch. That is the only thing we need.”
