PST Cover Reserve Team Transport Costs
Monday, 3rd Sep 2018The PST drive the Reserve Team forward.
The Pars Supporters’ Trust are delighted to be able to contribute £5000 to DAFC which will be used to cover the costs of transporting our reserve team as it competes in the top tier of the SPFL Reserve League for season 2018/19. With the league consisting of 18 clubs, each reserve team plays 17 games and the Pars have been drawn to play 9 of those away from home, ranging from Dumfries in the South to Dingwall in the North.
PST Chair Drew Main said “This is another great use of the funds we’ve raised and means the PST continue to help our club with something as essential as getting our reserve team to their away matches. We feel we’ve already struck up a great working relationship with Reserve Team Manager, Stevie Crawford and are looking forward to helping out in other ways throughout the season”.
DAFC Vice-Chairman Billy Braisby added “I would like to thank the PST for another fantastic gesture towards contributing to the running costs of our club. The young reserve squad is the future of our club, and ensuring they travel safe and secure to some far flung away matches this season will be vitally important”
Membership of the Pars Supporters’ Trust costs as little as £20 per year. For details of how to join, visit www.parssupporterstrust.co.uk, email membership@parssupporterstrust.co.uk or visit the PST rep on matchdays located in the foyer outside the club shop/ticket office.
