Staff Changes at DAFC
Tuesday, 14th Aug 2018Staff changes at East End Park
DAFC wish to formally announce some staff changes. General Manager, Michael Mlotkiewicz is leaving our club tomorrow to join PR firm, Electrify. Parts of Michael’s existing role are being reallocated to other staff, but Club Photographer, Craig Brown will be joining our club on a permanent contract as Media and PR Officer, as well as continuing to be our Club’s Photographer.
Chairman, Ross McArthur stated “Firstly, I would also like to take this opportunity to wish Mikey all the very best in his new job and thank him for his valued contribution and assistance over the last two years. He had a challenging role to fulfil, but I know he gained invaluable experience for his career ahead. Best wishes to Mikey, Lynne and his two young boys for the future, but he will not be far away from East End Park I am pretty sure!
It has been a busy last few weeks, reallocating working activities and responsibilities but I am absolutely delighted that Craig has agreed to taking on this new position. Over the last few years, I have seen that he is an extremely talented and innovative person who is very professional in his approach and works tirelessly not looking for any credit, and he has been pivotal to the development of our social medial streams. Like Mikey before him, Craig is a young local supporter who has been given the opportunity to progress his career and reputation at our club, and personally I think that is very important taking into account the ethos of our community club.”
Craig stated “I am delighted to be coming on board in my new role at the club. I`ve got to thank Mikey and Ross for their support over the last few years and allowing me to grow into the role. Similarly, I have got to think of people like Margaret Ross who was the catalyst for getting me involved in the club in the first place. We have set the bar high in terms of what we deliver across our social feeds, so I will be looking to develop this further, as well as all of my other additional tasks. The key is to continue developing the great relationships we have with fans, sponsors and everyone in the footballing community”.
Michael commented "I would like to thank Dunfermline Athletic Football Club and in particular, Chairman Ross McArthur for giving me the opportunity to be the club’s General Manager. It has been a great experience over the past two years, and an honour to have represented the club l support. The club has progressed in many different areas during my time, and I’m positive that will continue. I’d like to wish Craig Brown all the best in the new role, he is very talented and will continue to be a great asset to our club”.
