James Vincent signs
Tuesday, 3rd Jul 2018Dunfermline Athletic are pleased to announce the signing of James Vincent on a season long loan from Dundee.
James Vincent first came to Dunfermline on loan Dundee on 29th January 2018. He made his debut at Livingston on 10th February, and with 12 starts James was almost ever in Allan Johnston’s starting eleven, playing in both play off matches against Dundee United.
James played for Stockport County and Kidderminster Harriers before Terry Butcher took him north to Inverness in 2013.
In his second season at Inverness Caley Thistle he helped the club create history under new manager John Hughes. In the 2015 Scottish Cup final against Falkirk, the Highlanders went down to ten men just three minutes after James came on as sub. In the dying seconds of the final James made history for the club and elevated himself to legendary status in the Highland capital by striking the winner to lift the William Hill Scottish Cup.
Dundee snapped up the midfielder on a pre-contract in 2015, where he has made 37 league and cup appearances.
