Ladbrokes Championship Fixtures
Friday, 15th Jun 2018Dunfermline kick off their 2018-2019 league campaign away against Dundee United
The Ladbrokes Championship will kick off with the Pars travelling to Tannadice on Saturday 4th August.
First home league match on Saturday 11th August will be against newly relegated Ross County, followed by an away game two weeks later versus League One Champions Ayr United.
So two of the first three fixtures are away from home but with the next two at home Dunfermline will play three of their first five at East End Park.
First derby v Falkirk will be away on Saturday 6th October and we will visit the Falkirk Stadium on Saturday 29th December. Currently this is the only match scheduled around New Year.
Ayr United will be the visitors to East End Park on the Saturday before Christmas.
Last home match in the league will be against Morton on 27th April and the final league match is away to Inverness Caley Thistle on the first Saturday in May.
The other away day in Inverness is for an evening fixture on Tuesday 30th October. The only other midweek league match scheduled is at home to Partick Thistle in February.
Fans looking forward to the return to Dingwall should note matches there on Saturday 17th November and Saturday 23rd March.
The Ladbrokes Championship looks more competitive than ever. Ross County and Partick Thistle are bidding to bounce straight back following relegation while Dundee United will be hoping this is their year and Dunfermline are joined by most of the rest who also harbour ambitions of promotion.
On the opening day promoted Ayr United kick off against relegated Partick Thistle at Somerset Park while Ross County welcome Alloa Athletic to Dingwall.
