Neale Cooper

Dunfermline Athletic are deeply saddened to hear the passing of former player, Neale Cooper.

Throughout his career Neale played for Aberdeen, Rangers, Dunfermline and Ross County, as well as turning out for Aston Villa and Reading.

Neale joined the club in 1991, making over 100 appearances before departing for the Highlands in 1996.

Following his retirement from playing, Neale became a manager, starting his career in the dugout with Ross County before he went on to manage Peterhead, Hartlepool United twice & Gillingham.

The thoughts of everybody at Dunfermline Athletic are with his family and friends at this very sad time.
