Preview St Mirren

Saturday, 10th Mar 2018

Ladbrokes Championship: (away) Saturday 10th March 2018, 3.00pm kick off at the Paisley 2021 Stadium

After no matches for two weeks both teams will be hoping that they can get back into action this Saturday. While league leaders St Mirren are comfortably eight points clear of second place Livingston, Dunfermline on 35 points need to take something from this game if they want to maintain their hopes of a play off place finish. Because of the weather`s intervention this will be the Pars fourth successive away match.

In league matches between the clubs, the Pars hold the advantage overall with 39 wins to Saints 31.

The only goal of the game came in 38th minute. Kyle Magennis` pass put Ian McShane in on the right side of the box and he then sent the ball across the six yard box. Gavin Reilly could not get a connection but Cammy SMITH arrived to stick the ball in the Fifers net. 1-0

Despite a determined effort from the Pars for almost every minute of the second half and the four added they were to leave Paisley pointless.
