DAFC & SRJ Windows extend partnership agreement

Monday, 19th Feb 2018

DAFC are delighted to announce that we have agreed a three year extension to our partnership agreement with SRJ Windows, which includes being our shirt sponsor.

Ross McArthur, DAFC Chairman commented “on behalf of my Board and our supporters I would like to take this opportunity to thank SRJ Windows for their continuing commitment to our football club. I would also like to acknowledge the personal support of the Macintosh family, as they have proven to be loyal and supportive partners of our club. It does not seem like 3 years ago, we first agreed the initial shirt sponsorship.

This was agreed at a time when potential partners of our club were in short supply, but the family backed our club in our time of need, and I am sure our supporters will recognise and remember this.

It is also also important to note though that our arrangement with SRJ is much more than just being our shirt sponsor, as they provide a lot of support to our club in so many other areas. The branding on our jersey may be visible, but their kind and generous support in so many other aspects, which might not always be visible to our supporter base, is not only valued but greatly appreciated.”

Our famous black and white striped jersey will continue to feature SRJ Windows on the front, but with SRJ Sunrooms on the back, as from next season.

As well as being Scotland’s biggest supplier of Windows, our main sponsor continues to enjoy great success in the increasingly popular marketplace of sunrooms and conservatories. More and more people are adding value to their existing property by recognising the benefits of a good quality sunroom or conservatory to their lifestyle. Hence the reason for the change of branding to the rear of our strips next season.

SRJ’s state of the art showroom, at their head office in Rosyth profiles not only the extensive range of Windows, sunrooms and conservatories available to customers but more importantly the quality of workmanship and design, which underpins everything that SRJ do.

SRJ Chairman Keith Macintosh commented “we are equally delighted to be able to extend our partnership agreement with our local football club for another three seasons. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with a progressive club, and the loyalty shown to us by DAFC supporters to date has been fantastic, and at times very humbling. I often say to Ross, that a good partnership provides value for both parties, and that is what we both try and do.

We are excited to continue to help the club build towards getting back to the top table of Scottish football.”
