Dunfermline travel to Dumfries on Saturday hoping to get back to their winning ways. After defeats to St Mirren and Morton and then a draw at Livingston, Allan Johnston’s team seriously needs to start gathering points. Stephen Dobbie hit a 16-minute hat-trick as Queen of the South moved third in the Championship with a convincing 5-2 win over Dunfermline.

Two Chris Kane goals had put the Doohanmers 2-0 up within 27 minutes but Nicky Clark got one back just two minutes into the second half. Then came Dobbies first 15 minutes from time. He scored his second from the penalty spot five minutes later and although Declan McManus scored an 85th minute goal, Dobbie completed his hat trick in the first added minute at the end of the regulation 90.
