Following the sudden and untimely death of Pars Supporters’ Trust Chair and DAFC Director, Margaret Ross, the PST were pleased to announce the launch of the Margaret Ross Memorial Fund as a lasting tribute to their friend and colleague. The PST aim to make contributions to individuals or projects affecting the young players at East End Park.February
A packed Royal Bengal played host to the PST curry night. Fans were joined by first team players Ryan Williamson and Ben Richards-Everton. Over £1100 was raised and was the first donation to the Margaret Ross Memorial Fund.April
The PST were delighted to announce, the first recipient of an award from the Margaret Ross Memorial Fund would be FEFA trainee, Paul Allan. Paul had been selected to represent FEFA at a month-long training camp with Portuguese giants, Benfica and was provided with £1000 to help cover the cost of the trip.The PST handed over yet another cheque, this time for £10,000, as their latest contribution to Pars United CIC, the company which oversees Dunfermline Athletic on behalf of the fans. This brings the total invested so far by the PST to an incredible £248,085. This latest investment represents annual subscriptions and generous donations from PST members.

Following on from the purchase of heart monitors, a request was made to enhance the range of monitoring equipment available to the backroom staff. Once again, the PST were only too happy to purchase the kit, a set of base layer vest tops with an inbuilt pocket for storing monitors which will provide invaluable data when worn during live game situations.July
The PST sponsor the popular graphical image which appears on the Club’s social media feeds such as Twitter and Facebook, each time a goal is scored by Nicky Clark. They have also chosen to sponsor the home kit of young star Paul Allan, who signed his first professional contract, a 2-year deal with the Club.August
The PST is now the proud owner of a pitchside advertising board at East End Park, courtesy of a raffle prize won by PST Chair and DAFC director, Drew Main. Drew was fortunate enough to win this super prize at a raffle organised by the 1885 Business Club. He opted to have the board used to help promote the PST, and the important role it continues to play for the fans and the Club.September
Having funded an overnight stay in Buckie last November, for the 3rd round Scottish Cup tie, the PST were only too happy to help out again when approached by the Club with a view to covering the costs of overnight accommodation and the pre-match meal ahead of the Irn-Bru Cup match against the same opponents.October
FEFA trainee Josh Robertson becomes the second young player to benefit from the Margaret Ross Memorial Fund. 16-year-old Josh, a pupil at Perth High School, is registered to DAFC and was selected to attend the Benfica Elite Academy in Portugal for two weeks. The PST contributed £500 towards the cost of the trip.A packed Dine at 29 hosted the latest Pars Supporters’ Trust fundraiser. Declan McManus, Aaron Splaine and club captain Callum Morris were also in attendance at the Bruce Street restaurant together with Pars legend Jim Leishman. A total of £1125 was raised on the evening, and will be added to the Margaret Ross Memorial Fund.

The top prize winners in the Christmas raffle were drawn by former player Ivo den Bieman at half time of the game against Brechin City. First prize of a 2-night trip to Spain including flights, hotel and match tickets for a La Liga game of his choice was won by Robert John.Pars First Team Coach John Potter took a squad of young players to Sunderland for a friendly at the Black Cats Academy of Light. The cost of transport and money for meals on the trip was provided by the Margaret Ross Memorial Fund.
