Foodbank Collection - Thank You

Dunfermline Athletic would like to thank all supporters and members of the local community who donated generously to our Christmas foodbank appeal.

A fantastic 570kg was collected in total. This is the equivalent of 36 three-day food parcels, providing more than 1,300 meals to help feed approximately 144 people in Dunfermline.

Manager, Allan Johnston alongside first team players Joe Cardle, Nat Wedderburn and Ryan Williamson helped deliver the donations to the Dunfermline Foodbank centre just before Christmas Day.

Supporters donated over 207kg, whilst the players and management donated 363kg.

DAFC Sales Executive, Matthew Ford said: “We would like to thank everyone who donated items over the December period. The fans have been very generous. No-one should be going hungry at Christmas. As a community club we are always delighted to have the opportunity to help families in the area.
