Dining out with the PST
Monday, 30th Oct 2017A packed Dine at 29 hosted the latest Pars Supporters’ Trust fundraiser on 19th October.
Declan McManus, Aaron Splaine and club captain Callum Morris were also in attendance at the Bruce Street restaurant together with Pars legend Jim Leishman. A total of £1125 was raised on the evening, and will be added to the Margaret Ross Memorial Fund, set up by the PST to support the young players coming through at East End Park.
PST Chair, Drew Main said “We can’t thank Neil and his staff at Dine at 29 enough for helping make the evening such a success by giving over the restaurant to us and providing an excellent meal. The players too joined in the fun when being interviewed by Jim and were happy to stay and chat with everyone afterwards. Add to that the fantastic amount raised, making the evening a great success”.
The Margaret Ross Memorial Fund has already provided support for two young Pars players. Earlier this year, £1000 was given to help Paul Allan attend a month-long training camp in Portugal with Benfica, and this month, £500 was awarded to FEFA trainee Josh Robertson to attend the same camp, this time for two weeks.
