PST Cover Trip to Buckie

Dunfermline Athletic would like to thank the Pars Supporters Trust for their kind gesture covering the costs of the team’s overnight stay before the Irn-Bru second round tie against Buckie Thistle.

The team once again stayed at the Banff Springs Hotel, as they did last November before the Scottish Cup tie.

Supporters Trust chairman, Drew Main said: “Having subsidised the trip to Buckie last November for the Scottish Cup tie, it came as no surprise when the PST were approached again to provide the funding for this trip and we were only too happy to help. Any contribution to the club which can help give our team a competitive edge over the opposition is a huge part of what the PST is all about.

It meant the players arrived at the ground refreshed from a comfortable overnight stay in a local hotel which I’m sure contributed to the convincing performance we saw today”.
