Rhys Breen joined Dunfermline on 26th July 2021 from Rangers where he came up through their academy.
While 19 years of age Rhys made six appearances for Rangers U20s in the Challenge Cup and last season went out on loan firstly to Partick Thistle and then to Queen of the South. At Queens he made 16 starts including two against Dunfermline, and played the full 90 minutes in 15 of those appearances.
Rhys went out on loan to Orange County in California in May 2021 and played against Sacramento FC, LA Galaxy II, Oakland Roots and San Diego Loyal.
Made Dunfermline debut on 16th October 2021 v Kilmarnock when coming on as an 85th minute sub.
