Aaron, from Glenrothes, joined from St Johnstone in May 2019 having made 16 appearances for their first team. In May 2023 he signed a new two year deal.
He joined St Johnstone youth set up in 2015 from Celtic U17s. While at St Johnstone Aaron had two loan spells the first at Montrose in 2015-16 where he made 21 appearances.
Aaron made his St Johnstone debut as a substitute for the injured Richard Foster in the 1-1 draw away to Hamilton Accies on September 25th 2016 but his further taste of first team action was at Peterhead where he made 16 appearances from January 2017.
His first St Johnstone start was next season at the age of 20 in the 1-1 draw against Celtic at Celtic Park in August 2017.
As at 31/05/2023 Aaron had made 143 appearances for Dunfermline.
