DUNFERMLINE 1 ABERDEEN 0
The Under 20s side showed just one change from the match against Inverness Caley Thistle the previous week, Callum Fordyce coming in for Paul Allan. Aberdeen kicked off this Development League match played at Kelty Hearts, New Central Park on Tuesday afternoon.
Pars keeper Cammy Gill was the first of the two to be called into action to save in just second minute. His counterpart Craddock in the Dons goal got a touch when a corner won by Callum Smith was deliver in by Robbie Crawford and he had to gather at the back post.

Stuart Morrison cut out a low cross from Sam Robertson before a ninth minute free kick 28 yards out on the right, allowed Scott Lochhead a shot but it was easily taken by the Aberdeen keeper.
Luck was against Dunfermline when Smith was caught offside as Robbie Crawford sent him away. He got in a shot next minute, 18th but was blocked on the edge of the box. In between Frank Ross shot wide of Gill`s goal and then did the same with a 19th minute free kick from midway inside the Pars half.
Then two minutes later LOCHHEAD slotted home what was to be the only goal of the game. It came after a great pass from Johnny Galloway sent Smith to the byeline from where he cut back the perfect ball for his team mate to net. 1-0

Aberdeen tried hard to retrieve the situation forcing corners and returning balls back into the Dunfermline box. Duthie headed away, Gill punched away another and an effort also went wide. The Pars were not without chances of their own. A 32nd minute Crawford corner was met by Fordyce and his attempt was cleared off the line. Fordyce just failed to reach a Duthie free kick five minutes later.
In the final five minutes of the first half both sides had opportunities to score. Anderson sent a shot narrowly over Gill`s crossbar while at the other end Crawford sent in a cross that Smith just couldn`t reach, Fordyce headed wide and then Crawford had his attempt blocked after breaking into the Dons box. Nevertheless the young Pars side deserved their half time lead.
Half time: Dunfermline 1 Aberdeen 0

Dunfermline continued from where they left off giving their opponents plenty to exercise them. Smith firing a good effort just wide in 49th minute, Brandon Luke was very unlucky not to convert a fine delivery from Reece Duncan, Stuart Morrison tried to pick out Lochhead but was just too long and in 61 minutes, from the edge of the box, Lochhead tested Craddock.
An Aberdeen free kick then picked out Omolokun but Gill gathered that. Craddock at the other end was made to save a Lochhead shot. Morrison had an attempt blocked and Luke was unfortunate not to finish the follow up.

Aberdeen had another spell where they forced the Pars to defend. Duthie headed a dangerous ball in from the left away for a corner that was subsequently cleared. Anderson had a shot wide and then with time running out Thomas fired a free kick into the Pars wall.
An 86th minute free kick was curled just outside the far post by Duthie. Then Fordyce attacked Crawford`s corner, his header was blocked and then his overhead kick was caught by the keeper. Antonialli sent one final chance over Gill`s bar in the final minute of regulation time and the Fifers saw out the two added minutes for a good result.
