After the win coach John Potter spoke exclusively to the website, he said:-
“I thought the performance was really good for the majority of the game. We went a goal down probably against the run of play – it was a wonder strike but then we got back into the game. PJ was always a threat and we got a penalty and Scott Robinson scored. At the end of the first half it could have gone either way, we had a lot of opportunities but the final pass wasn’t there.
"In the second half I thought we dominated the majority of the game, they probably had a bit of the ball at the start but we looked dangerous on the counter-attack and then the boy got sent off for a foul on PJ after a great run and pass and after that we dominated the game. We were glad to win in the end and I think we deserved it.
"I think we started off alright but probably didn’t threaten enough their goal and I didn’t think they deserved a goal either. I thought we had a lot of the ball around the half way line and in the final third our last pass probably let us down a wee bit.
"When PJ is one on one he is great and won the penalty which Scott put away. The first half was probably the right result but I think in the second half we dominated and we were glad to win in the end.
"Ryan Williamson looked back to his old self down the right and we had Lewis on the left and Connor coming in and Cammy McClair doing well. PJ was a constant threat all game. We had forward options and they were breaking at times as well which we had to defend.
"Disappointed with the goals we gave away, but going forward definitely a threat and good goals and good chances."
