ST MIRREN 1 DUNFERMLINE 3
It was a young Dunfermline team that faced Premiership opponents in the Development League at Paisley on Monday night. The snowy conditions were difficult and the home side went ahead through an unfortunate own goal after just six minutes. A quick break away led to a shot at goal that keeper Jamie Wilson parried only for the ball to end up in the net off Jodan Orru.
The first half then became very evenly matched until in 44 minutes Allan Smith was brought down by St Mirren keeper Dan Wilks. The keeper was shown red and James THOMAS converted the penalty past substitute Mark Foden.

The match was effectively put out of the Buddies reach in 73rd minute when Foden dropped a Scott Mercer cross and SMITH followed up to score the third. 1-3
