The Pars travelled west from their training camp at Obertraun for this pre season friendly played in 30 degrees at Bischofshofen just south of Salzburg in Austria. Manager Jim McIntyre reflected on the match against Mlada Boleslav:-
"The game went very well and the team played excellently against a very good side who were masters at keeping possession. They finished third in the Czech League, won their domestic cup and are in the coming season`s Europa League.
"They were typical of what you`d expect - sharp, quick and strong but we matched them for long periods and I was very pleased with our fitness. From our point of view it was a good team performance. The Czechs didn`t really work Paul Gallacher - he had routine saves and one smarter one. All saves that you`d expect him to make although we didn`t create all that much to worry their keeper either."
The squad will train again on Wednesday and prepare for their next opponents, Romanian`s Rapid Bucharest. The Manager described the Obertraun pitches as perfect surfaces and said that they had already enjoyed two training sessions of real quality there."
