Pars hit Stranraer for six as McWhirter, Hackland, MacDonald, Mercer and Leslie (2) hit the target.

This game on Wednesday 13th April was played at the ground of Maybole Juniors. Dunfermline went ahead in just eight minutes from a Blair McWHIRTER shot from the edge of the box. The lead doubled in 17 minutes later when a good move down the right saw Ross Millen send in a good delivery in to Shaun Byrne. The midfielder was taken down and Chris HACKLAND converted from the penalty spot.

Ten minutes into the second half Hackland made the run down the right before flicking the ball in for Byrne to move on for John MacDONALD to get on the scoresheet. Another penalty was awarded to the visitors on the hour but this time the keeper saved from Hackland.

A quick throw by McWhirter in five minutes later found Hackland and Steven LESLIE scored from the lay off. 4-0 became 5-0 after just another five minutes when McWhirter`s throw in was taken by Byrne and newly introduced sub, Scott MERCER hit in the goal.

The final goal in 73 minutes came from another good move down the right by John MacDonald and Chris Hackland who squared it for LESLIE to score.
