Stiff junior opposition give U19s tough opening fixture

DUNFERMLINE 0 KIRKCALDY YM 4

Two goals in each half gave the junior side a comfortable victory on Tuesday night at the Fleet Ground.

Coach Hamish French said that it was a reasonable showing for the U19s first competitive match against a team who play in the East Junior League.  "The sides possibly had the same number of chances only the Kirkcaldy team took four of theirs."
