Half Time: Dunfermline 2 Ross County 0
Within four minutes of the restart the Pars increased their lead. Willis was fouled just outside the box, McBride took the free kick and scored but the referee had already blown his whistle. He booked County`s Scott and Griffin and gave a good talking to goalkeeper Joe Malin. MCBRIDE retook the kick and sent the ball high in the net, this time in earnest for a 50th minute third goal.
Two minutes later County hit the crossbar with Reidford beaten, from a shot from wide left by David Winters. County hit the post a minute later when Watt turned on a Scott Morrison corner and their misfortune continued a minute later when they had claims for a penalty turned down.
In a good move, Jim McIntyre passed to Willis who played in McBride for a good shot that the goalkeeper had to touch over the bar. In 59 minutes there was another claim by County for a penalty turned down, it was not to be their day.
Graeme Holmes shot from outside the box but was well taken by the goalkeeper. Then three minutes later in 73rd minute. County sub Ryan Scanlon again hit the post from a cross from the left with Reidford beaten.
Jim McIntyre went off ten minutes from the end to be replaced by Jordan White. Iain Williamson sent the sub through on goal but before he could shoot, the ball was cleared by a County defender.
In 86 minutes Paul Willis sent Iain WILLIAMSON through, he took a couple of touches and then slotted the ball into the net for the Pars fourth goal of the day. All in all a good shift by the Pars, and another run out for McIntyre, Bell and Holmes on their road to match fitness.
