VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS
Both teams fielded young players in with a mix of experience but it was the home side who rattled in all the goals. Dunfermline were deservedly two up at half time after goals from Iain Williamson and Ross Campbell.
The first goal came in 12th minute from a break out of defence with Campbell making ground down the right to float the ball over the defender`s head for WILLIAMSON to rush in and direct the ball past the trialist keeper. CAMPBELL`s first goal came from a good finish five minutes before half time. Simon Wiles started the move that saw Paul Willis flick the ball through for the goalscorer.
Sixteen minutes into the second half the Pars added a third from a Wiles free kick. The keeper parried the ball on to the post and CAMPBELL followed up to make it 3-0. Following a corner Scott Muirhead sent the ball into the goalmouth. Lee Graham`s header towards the far post was chested down by WILLIAMSON who smashed it into the roof of the net..
CAMPBELL completed the scoring and his hat trick accepting a Paul Willis lay off to finish well from 15 yards.
