Pre Season Friendly in Italy

Jim Leishman was far from pleased with the decisions of the local whistler:-

"The penalty they got was a disgrace and I just felt he could have been a lot fairer. Even the Chievo players said it was not a penalty. The Chievo boy who went down was laughing at the referee.

"I spoke to him at half-time and told him he had to be fair. I had a word with the players during the interval because I wanted them to stay calm. Chievo were a very good team and they are nice people. It`s just a shame the referee was so biased."
