The Pars got off to a slow start in their opening match of their Pre Season Tour in Holland but once the first goal went in there was no stopping them. Scott THOMSON started the procession midway through the first half when he blasted a 20 yarder into the net.

Dunfermline then stunned their amateur opponents with four goals in six minutes. Andrius SKERLA netting a powerful header on his Pars debut in 34 minutes and sixty seconds later Lee BULLEN got the same result from a Petrie cross. 0-3

A further three minutes on saw BULLEN score easily from Eddie May’s cross and five minutes from the break Stevie CRAWFORD completed the first half scoring after Petrie’s shot came back off the post.

Half time: Marienberg 0 Dunfermline 5

Three half time substitutions failed to halt the goals spree. CRAWFORD headed in a Petrie cross before PETRIE himself made it 7-0 in 58 minutes with a shot from the edge of the box.

Stephen Boyle set up the next two, for SKERLA in 69 minutes and PETRIE from the penalty spot in 78 after the youngster had been pulled down.
