PANTOMIME AS O’BOYLE SPOILS THE SHOW
Having been booed at every touch from very start of the game ex Par George O’Boyle completed his villain’s role by slotting away the equaliser with ten minutes remaining.
Dunfermline started the first half as they had finished their last league match against Hearts.
Unfortunately they forgot their lines after twenty minutes By this time Andy TOD had headed in the opener with 7 minutes on the clock and good chances had been missed by Smith, Bingham and Moore
St Johnstone were allowed to get into the game They had the ball in the net after 58 minutes but the referee ruled offside within the 6 yard box despite the fact his linesman did not flag Ten minutes later Barnett allowed a cross from the left that Attila SEKERLIOGLU turned into the net
Andy TOD headed the Pars back ahead in the 77th minute but after a double substitution, that the announcer hadn’t completed explaining, O’BOYLE had the ball in the net
Sad having been ahead to have lost the two points Dunfermline looked good then fell apart with the St Johnstone midfield looking sharp
Colin Miller
Coiln Miller will miss both the Hearts Coca Cola Cup tie and the Premier League match against Hibs at Easter Road because of international team duties with Canada He is expected to make his 52 international appearance on 7th September against Jamaica in Kingston Should he go on and make it 53 caps against El Salvador he will replace Istvan Kosma as Pars most capped player (while at East End) with 13 caps
