The young Dunfermline side was augmented with the inclusion of Tom Beadling and Callum Smith who is currently on loan to Arbroath, and it was goals from both the led to a well earned home win.
Smith kicked off this cup tie for Dunfermline.
1: Chance! Good ball in from Smith from the right and the keeper blocked then Todd had an effort blocked
3: Another Crosbie effort saved by the keeper
4: Good run by Beadling through the middle but unable to get a shot away
9: Good ball in from Sawers and Pars have a corner on right. Taken by Crosbie and then Luke`s shot is over the Queens bar
11: Great long ball from Allan to Smith who evades the defender and gets a shot away from an acute angle but the keeper blocks
12: Sawers wind a free kick on the edge of the box in a central position. Beadling looking to take.
13: BEADLING sends a low shot into the bottom right corner of the Queens goal 1-0
16: Chance! Great work by Smith on the right who sends a great ball into the box and Todd looked odds on to score but somehow the keeper and defender got a block in
