Last Time QOS at East End Park
When the sides last met the Pars were on their way to winning the First Division title. Jim McIntyre`s men took their time in getting going but hit Queens for six in the final hour. Martin Hardie opened the scoring in 32 minutes and David Graham made it two just six minutes into the second half. `Bomber` Harris pulled one back for the visitors but even down to ten men following a red card shown to Kevin Rutkiewicz in added time at the end of the first half, Chris Higgins (65), Graham (69), Andy Kirk (76) and Pat Clarke (82) made it a mauling at 6-1.
It was former Pars keeper Roddy McKenzie who conceded all the goals but one Allan Johnston was in the Queen of the South side that afternoon and Pars keeper David Hutton warmed the bench.
