Jim McIntyre Post Partick
Sunday, 20th Sep 200919/09/09: "We made a terrible mistake and we were punished. First goals are always crucial and that really knocked the stuffing out of us
"It was a really poor first half from both teams. There wasn't much good football played. We made a terrible mistake and we were punished. First goals are always crucial and that really knocked the stuffing out of us."
There was some credit due to Thistle's goalkeeper Jonny Tuffey.
"He made a couple of good saves, but we hit the bar. He made a really good save from Bayne."
McIntyre had his thoughts as to what was wrong in today's game and other recent defeats.
"The reaction in the second half was not good enough. The players have got to do more. Another sloppy error gave them their second goal.
"The players have to stand up and be counted. We gave away a present at Dundee last week and we've given two away today. We've got to stop shooting ourselves in the foot."
