Big crowd hope for Capital visitors
Thursday, 16th Jul 2015Dunfermline Athletic welcome Allan Stubbs' Hibernian to East End Park on Saturday for the first home game of the season.

Hibs were visitors to Dunfermline in pre season last season as well but only nine of the twenty Pars players used remain for this new term.
The Pars have a new manager too and he welcomes the fixture against the team that finished second in the championship last season. He told this website:-
"We have played Partick Thistle and Livingston but Hibs are playing with confidence and they have a lot of top quality players. We are under no illusions as to how hard it is going to be.

"It will be one that every player will want to play in, there should be a big crowd as well and it is one that we are all looking forward to."
For Allan Johnston it will be his first time in the home dugout at East End Park and the home fans. He continued:-
"Everybody has been fantastic since I came to the club, there is a lot of positivity about the place and we have just got to make sure that we start the season really well and get the fans there in their numbers.

"Hibs will bring a big support and I am sure we will as well and that will create a great atmosphere. As a player these are the games that you want to play in; you want to test yourself against the best players.
"It will be a tough test and probably the last before the season starts."
The manager had four trialists out on Wednesday night and he did not rule out taking another look at some of them on Saturday.
The match kicks off at 3.00pm. Tickets are £10 & £5.
