Austin McCann Post Morton
Monday, 7th Mar 2011"As the Manager has said before this is going to be a massive month and we have to get performances like that out of our system.
Pars captain Austin McCann hopes that the mistakes that yielded three goals on Saturday are over and well out of the system by the time Ross County arrive on Tuesday night-
"We are determined to make sure it is just a one off. Football is not a game to feel sorry for yourself. You have got to get on with it no matter how much criticism or bad results you get.
"The first goal is very important in this league. We showed against Morton that we just couldn't get back into it; we were chasing the game and Morton deserved their victory. It is an important month with a lot of games so we have a chance to get back on the winning trail on Tuesday night."
The team looked nervy from the start and to lose a goal in 36 seconds was the worst possible of starts:-
"You can feel it with the start we made to the game and the mistakes. We couldn't put things together at both ends of the pitch; we missed chances in front of goal as well. Given the other results it is disappointing. As the Manager has said before this is going to be a massive month and we have to get performances like that out of our system.
"We will go back in for training bright and bubbly; there's nothing we can do about the result now. It is now all about Tuesday night, get the boys heads lifted and look to pick up three points."
